Andrea is an accomplished professional with an extensive career spanning three continents. Andrea has over 25 years’ experience in various industries in the US, with Spencer Stuart, McKinsey & Company, Fiji Water; in UK with McCann Erickson and in West Africa with Standard Chartered Bank, Tower Hill Kindergarten and Primary School and more recently eHealth Africa. Her primary focus has always been on Recruiting, Human Resources, Operations and Business Processes. Andrea is a British born Sierra Leonean whose passion is to enable her clients to run a competitive, smooth and efficient business. She has a BA in Business Administration from the University of London.
Taiwo is the founder of CREATE Ghana, an entrepreneurship development organization which combines her passion for job creation and talent management. Prior to launching CREATE Ghana, she helped establish a number of human capital organizations including the Africa Advisory Group, an Africa-focused leadership advisory firm, and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Africa, a non-profit dedicated to training and mentoring young African professionals. Taiwo began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she advised Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and non-profit organisations on strategic issues. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Tom has been living and working in Sierra Leone since 2004, and is the founder of ManoCap, an impact investment firm that has been working in Sierra Leone and Liberia for the last 8 years. He is also the co-founder of the Welbodi Partnership, a health charity that supports the Ola During Children’s Hospital in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Tom has worked for Lansdowne Partners, a UK based hedge fund manager focusing on UK equities, and as a management consultant for Marakon Associates in London, New York, Amsterdam and Mexico, focused primarily on the financial services sector. He holds an M.Phil in Development Studies from Cambridge University and a BA in Human Sciences from Oxford University.
Daniel Osei Antwi
Daniel has over 10 years experience in the technology and financial services sectors. He is the Managing Director of Splash Mobile Technologies, which offers mobile payment solutions in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Ghana. Before moving to Sierra Leone, Daniel was an investment banker with Barclays Capital in New York, where he worked on M&A, restructuring and large debt and equity transactions for power and energy sector clients. Earlier in his career, Daniel gained extensive start-up experience during three years as an engineer with Nexant, a venture capital-backed firm that has grown to become a leading provider of energy technology solutions and advisory services in North America. Daniel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College, NY.
